Community giveaway includes school supplies, soccer tickets, and promotional items for elementary and middle school students
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – August 1, 2025 – Indy Roof & Restoration, in partnership with professional soccer club Indy Eleven and M.E.M Auction House, will distribute 500 free backpacks filled with essential school supplies to Indianapolis-area families beginning Monday, August 4, 2025. The community initiative aims to support local families as students prepare to return to school.
Each backpack will include folders, pens and pencils, markers, erasers, notebooks, and other essential school supplies, along with Indy Eleven game tickets and mini foam soccer balls. The giveaway is designed primarily for elementary and middle school students and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies are exhausted.
“Our commitment to the Indianapolis community goes far beyond our home services,” said Aaron Christy, Founder of Indy Roof & Restoration. “Education is the foundation of strong communities, and we want to ensure that financial barriers don’t prevent any child from starting the school year prepared and confident. This partnership allows us to directly impact 500 local families while strengthening the bonds that make Indianapolis special.”
Zeke, the Indy Eleven mascot, will join the effort on-site, helping to stuff backpacks and engage with families during distribution. The event represents a significant expansion from last year’s initiative, which provided 300 backpacks.
